Quend is a seaside resort 40 km away from the campsite with so much to offer. You’ll love the magnificent immense landscapes, the dunes, pine woods and marshland perfect for exploring by bike, and the vast stretches of fine sandy beaches which give you such an intense feeling of freedom and peace.
With 15 km of fine sandy beaches, Quend-Plage-les-Pins lends itself wonderfully to a stunning variety of seaside activities, such as sand yachting, sailing, kitesurfing, stand-up paddling, shellfish gathering and sea fishing. Another must-see attraction is the mussel farm where a guide will show you the mussels grown on posts before you try some on the terrace of one of the most renowned restaurants in Quend-Plage.
Bike rides are also one of the top activities in the resort which is home to a huge network of cycle paths between the Bay of Somme and the Bay of Authie, running right through the largest dune massif in northern Europe, along small countryside lanes and through the pine forest.
All excellent reasons why you’ll love to drop by and visit Quend-Plage when you’re next on holiday at the Le Bois de Pins campsite!
